Health Check donates $1,500 to GALA’s St. Joe Children’s Theater
On Thursday, September 10, 2009, Health Check Incorporated (HCI) donated $1,500 to Gulf Alliance for Local Art (GALA) to help fund their newly formed St. Joe Children’s Theater.
The entire Health Check team supports and applauds the efforts of GALA and their new Children’s Theater. The HCI team is very involved with GALA and sees great things in its future and the future of arts and culture in our area. Health Check’s corporate headquarters are located in Gulf County. Their core business is providing Managed Care auditing and recovery services to independent hospitals and health care systems across the country.
They provide over 100 jobs nationwide, most of which are right here in Gulf County. The HCI team also believes GALA’s efforts to promote and provide arts and culture in our area will make our community more appealing to new business and potential employees wishing to settle here.
“We could not be more please by the support we are receiving from such fine corporations as Health Check,” said Don Ouellette, GALA President. “It further shows the true commitment of local businesses, foundations and the community to the arts for our children and adults as well. Please show your support by becoming a member of GALA today,” he adds.
The first performance by the St. Joe Children’s Theater, “The Headless Horseman Rides Again” is scheduled for Ghosts on the Coast on Halloween night. There will be 3 shows starting at 6:30 p.m. EST at the new park on the corner of Reid Ave. and Hwy. 71
